Handmade necklaces with ancient history //
These shimmering green-blue Roman glass beads were made along the historic Silk Road from fragments of unearthed ancient Roman glass objects such as cups, vases and perfume containers. The long storage in the ground gives the turquoise glass beads a unique, shimmering patina and their museum-like character. Combined with gold-plated matte silver beads, Indian bronze beads or Burmese silver elements, these antique beads tell their own ancient story.
